Open to any golfers affiliated to a club and attracting golfers from all over the world the Challenge is a four ball, betterball competition and guarantees four days of golf with competitions and prizes each day.
Gordon Bennett Irish Classic Car Run 2017

A four day vintage car rally following the original 'Gordon Bennett' route.

The National Ploughing Association Championships 2017

The annual Laois Fleadh will take place in Portlaoise on the last week in May. A wonderful occasion for both young and old to celebrate one of the most famed of Irish culturs, our music and dance.
Festival Francais de Portarlington 2017

The festival aims to enlighten people on the history and culture of the town and get people involved in arts and sports.
The town and surroundings are steeped in French Huguenot History and tourists who visit Portarlington can view many historic buildings like St. Pauls French Church, Arlington House, Lea Castle, Emo Court and all the beautiful old houses that are built in the Huguenot style.
